Interior
Interior walls
Walls being one of the most heavily used surfaces in any home or business, they need to be as durable as possible, usually painted in a low sheen finish. The applicable primers/undercoats may be used especially on new substrates. This is followed by two coats of paint in colour and sheen level of the clients choosing. This allows for an even finish of both colour and sheen level.
Interior Ceilings
Walls can be the most visually impressive surfaces in any location. They are usually painted in a flat paint to hide imperfections and provide an ultra-consistent finish. The applicable primers/undercoats may be used especially on new substrates. They are generally followed by two coats of paint in colour and sheen level of the clients choosing. This allows for an even finish of both colour and sheen level.
Interior Timberwork (Doors, Architraves, skirting boards and windows)
Being handled the most, these areas need the most durable paint system available. More often than not, it will need to be undercoated/primed followed by two coats of an enamel topcoat for strength and durability.
Interior Cabinets
As cabinets need to be super strong and extremely durable, we recommend painting in an epoxy finish. This can be done either in place or taken away and completed. Usually used for a kitchens, bathrooms or mantle pieces.
Interior Polyurethane/Varnish
Polyurethane is a clear coating that by nature is very hard wearing and increases the character and beauty of the timber it is used upon. Usually a three coat application system over new timber or two coat application system over existing polyurethane.
Exterior
Exterior Weatherboard Houses
The exterior surface of your house can be seriously affected by extreme weather like heavy rain or sunlight. It can create dampness, peeling or results in cracking in the exterior surface. Painting your exterior can cover stains and damages and leave your house looking fresh and clean for years to come.
Exterior Washing
Our pre-paint house wash or building wash is ideal for exterior painting preparation, as it both cleans the surface to be painted, it also leaves the surface sterile by killing all moss, mould and lichen (including spores, which can cause regrowth later).
